The first step is to get the code. You can branch the backend code from github by using the following command:

git clone https://github.com/jrgns/backend-php.git

Once you've got the code, use it, and report any bugs you may encounter or questions you might have on github

Should you make any changes to the code, and like to see it included in the backend code, just create a fork on gitub, and submit a pull request.
